Every way of staffing, from one agency
A single shift, a season, a trial before you hire, or a permanent appointment. Here is how each one works, who it suits, and what comes with it.
Temporary & contract staffing
We employ the worker and assign them to you, so we are the employer of record. Payroll, source deductions, WSIB, T4s and Records of Employment sit with us; you approve hours and receive one invoice a week, broken out by position.
Best for
- Covering absences, leaves and no-shows
- Steady crews for ongoing operations
- Short-notice requests, with an honest answer on whether we can fill them
How it works
- You call. The role, the shift, the site and the start date.
- We shortlist. People we have spoken to, with documents and certificates on file.
- They start. Briefed on where to go, what to wear and who to ask for.
- One invoice. You approve hours; the invoice arrives weekly, by position.
Temp-to-hire
A worker starts on our payroll. If they are right for you, you hire them directly. Conversion terms are agreed in writing before the placement begins.
Best for
- Roles you want to fill permanently, without guessing from an interview
- Seasonal workers you would like to keep
- Teams growing faster than your hiring process
How it works
- Agree it up front. The role, and the terms for hiring the worker, in writing.
- They start with us. A temporary placement on our payroll, on your shifts.
- You see them work. In your operation, with your team, before you decide.
- They join you. When you are ready, they move onto your payroll.
Permanent recruitment
For roles you hire onto your own payroll: we source and screen candidates against your brief, and you get a shortlist of people we have actually spoken to.
Best for
- Supervisors, leads and coordinators
- Office, dispatch and administrative roles
- Hard-to-fill roles where you want people screened before your time is spent
How it works
- Your brief. The role, the pay range and the must-haves.
- We search and screen. Against the brief, by phone, before anyone reaches you.
- Your shortlist. People we have spoken to, with our notes on each.
- You decide. You interview and hire; terms are agreed in writing first.
Event, seasonal & peak staffing
Short, intense requirements - a gala, a trade show, a product launch, an inventory count, a seasonal rush. We coordinate staffing around the location, schedule and duties of each assignment. Capacity and start dates are confirmed for each one.
Best for
- Events and venues: setup, service, teardown and cleanup
- Warehouse and retail peaks
- Inventory counts and one-off projects
How it works
- Share the details. Dates, headcount, roles and location.
- We confirm. Availability, and any certificates the roles need.
- Briefed before the day. With one contact for you on the day itself.
- One invoice. Afterwards, by position and hour type.
Staffing partnerships
We work with staffing agencies and workforce partners seeking local crew support in the GTA. Share your required headcount, roles, location and shift schedule so we can confirm availability, coordination requirements and deployment timelines.
Best for
- Agencies without a local GTA bench
- Overflow on large or multi-site requirements
- Hospitality, event and industrial crews for a partner's clients
How it works
- Share the requirement. Headcount, roles, location and shift schedule.
- We confirm. Availability, coordination requirements and deployment timelines.
- Agreed in writing. Responsibilities set out before anyone starts.
- One contact. For the whole requirement, from first shift to last invoice.
Which arrangement fits?
The difference is who employs the worker, and for how long.
| Temporary & contract | Temp-to-hire | Permanent recruitment | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who employs them | We do, for the whole assignment | We do at first; then you do | You do, from day one |
| Payroll, WSIB, T4s, ROEs | Ours | Ours, until they join you | Yours |
| Commitment | Per assignment | A trial period, then a hire | A direct hire |
| Best for | Cover, peaks and ongoing crews | Roles you want to fill once you are sure | Long-term roles on your own team |
| How you pay | One hourly bill rate per position | Hourly while with us; hiring terms agreed in writing | Terms agreed in writing up front |
What you get, by arrangement.
Some things are the same however you staff. The rest depends on who employs the worker.
Every arrangement
A dedicated point of contact
Our staffing team gives you one clear point of contact for each assignment, from the first call to the last invoice.
Screening for the role
Candidates are spoken to and screened against the role before they reach you, with certificates such as forklift tickets, WHMIS or Smart Serve checked where the job needs them.
Responsibilities agreed in writing
Rates or fees, terms and who looks after what are set out in writing before anyone starts.
Temporary and contract assignments, and temp-to-hire until the hire
For the workers we employ and assign.
Right to work, verified
Checked and recorded before the first shift, with permit expiry dates tracked.
Briefed before day one
Where to go, what to wear, what to bring and who to ask for.
Payroll and WSIB
Payroll, source deductions, WSIB coverage, T4s and Records of Employment sit with us.
Approved hours, weekly invoices
You approve the hours. One invoice a week, by position, with regular, overtime, night and holiday hours set out separately.
Permanent recruitment
The person you hire joins your payroll from day one, so payroll and WSIB are yours, and there are no timesheets or hourly invoices from us.
Sourcing
We search for candidates against your brief: the role, the pay range and the must-haves.
Screening and shortlist
Candidates are screened by phone before you see them, and you get a shortlist with our notes on each.
You interview and hire
You choose who to hire, and they join your payroll from day one.
Recruitment terms in writing
Our recruitment terms are agreed in writing before the search begins.
